This November, I went back to Taiwan for three weeks and I gave myself 3 kg quota to gain weight, because you know I have to, cause the food is just irresistible! I’m so happy to spend time with my mom and families my grandma and even went to see my uni professor. I traveled to the east haulian/ taitung, to the south, and the Xiaoliuqiu Island. I was so surprised and happy to see the local sightseeing places have now attracted so many international tourists. Many places are being kept well. Since I live in the UK, I will fly back to Taiwan once a year, and with this distant I’m able to recognise what could be the elements of forming the sensibility of Taiwan.
Taiwanese are actually quite curious and that’s why you can see bizarrely interesting “creations”, for example the distinct inspiration for Airbnb buildings, it can be a pink bubble princess Palace, a sexy party bus, or Greece inspired blue beach house… I guess you got to have a certain of curiosity and freedom to have this landscape? Anyway, below are some of the pictures from Xin-Betou, Taipei, that triggered me to remember the atmosphere of the staying this time.

Xin Betou ( 新北投) is a historical hot spring places

with many Japanese traces
