CHUNG YU-TING
鍾 宇 婷

Chung Yu-Ting is a Taiwanese artist based in London working across murals, suspended painting, spatial installation, and collaborative projects. Her practice explores how movement, air, and gesture generate spatial fields rather than fixed images. Using mineral pigments and preserving the traces of brush, splash, and material resistance, her works resist total depiction, remaining open to the viewer’s embodied perception.

Many of her works- whether suspended paintings, murals, or site-specific collaborations activate space relationally, allowing figures, landscapes, and flashes of natural energy such as water, wind, or lightning to emerge as events unfolding in real time. Central to her practice is the idea of migratory subjectivity, the belief that perception and identity are continually formed through movement across landscapes, cultures, and bodies.

Alongside her spatial works, Chung also develops small-format publications and moving-image works that recreate the time-space into intimate narrative forms, including pop-up zines derived from her murals.

Chung holds an MA from the Royal College of Art and is the founder of Studio Tingchzy.
